David stands for personal freedom and liberty. You can’t solve problems with more problems. David turns to basic logic to cut through million dollar marketing campaigns, over stimulated emotions and falsified crisis’ that produce the modern world’s perspective. While serious about the current status of affairs, he also likes giving people a sucker punch of satire with a mix of popular interests and grinding it with whatever is brewing in his mind. His Favorite quote, “Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction.” – Albert Einstein

I’ve been a southerner my whole life. I’ve been raised by conservatives and been taught those values: individuality, personal responsibility, and respect of my fellow man. However, I have not found that these values exist on a large scale, but, rather, on many small scales. The matter, it seems, is that there is no just cause for life’s goings on. While told “life’s not fair” by many, I believe there is a line that has been crossed. As Cartel (the band) says, “if you’re not getting answers, ask better questions.” My goal is to find pieces of truth, compile them, and develop “better questions”. Using numbers as my weapon of choice, I will attempt to show how this affects individuals as an aggregate. I say, if you want some real answers, you best follow the money.

Writing has always been a passion of mine and with this passion I seek to fulfill many others: educating, entertaining, provoking and inspiring my readers. I want to question the validity of our leaders, as well as the ideologies and understanding of the people. I want to encourage individuals to strive for betterment—in whatever way that maybe. I believe we should be critical thinkers and judge all information and public figures with a pair of doubtful eyes. I believe in continuous education: we should be learning something new everyday and constantly asking questions. I believe we should fight for what we believe in and resist those whom tell us to be quiet—regardless of how trivial that belief is. I believe in equality and the betterment of all. And most importantly, I believe the greatest reward is knowing you paid for it with cold hard work. I’m not here to solve the problem. I’m here to solve the people. In the words of Gandhi, “ We must become the change we want to see…”

One finds one’s niche in life based on a delicate balance of nature and nurture. I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA and have lived both in and around the city my entire life. I learned at an early age that I was destined for Business. Business is in my blood and I am compelled to continue the family legacy. I believe we have a duty as human beings and as Americans to care for and grant compassion to those around us. Morals and Law inevitably go hand in hand. Let’s discuss the issues plaguing this country in a rational, logical, business-like manner and present the facts for both sides in the attempt to make an educated and informed decision to better ourselves and those around us. It doesn’t matter the political spectrum, I’m concerned with the principle of a promise and the truth to bring about justice. I’m tired of the arguing, the indecisiveness and the complacency. Ignorance is no excuse for allowing “plans” to go into motion. The issues matter, so let’s be smart in our approach, our decisions, and start caring about our future. Let’s think about the real issues and do something about them! Let’s be logical, folks.

I’m more interested in questions than answers, which for me equates to a severe discontent with the status quo. I like to understand ideas from the ground up, so in that respect, I guess I have a little bit of philosopher’s bent towards the school of skepticism. Greatest strength and weakness: over-thinking every problem regardless of its size. I find myself excessively disgusted by politicians and pretty much anybody who wears a suit to work everyday. Perception passes for reality these days, even when we all know better, and I’m on a mission to piss off other people until they are as angry as I am.
